Beetroot prices are presently high generally across the country. The heavy rains we have seen in the past few weeks negatively impacted yields and quality. As a result, volumes are not in good shape, inflating prices at that. Y/y prices for beetroot were at least 30% and 20% m/m higher as of May 2025. See the figure below.
